description

Giddapahar is among the few gardens that still produce traditional styles of Darjeelings from old Chinary bushes. And their Chinaries tend to be mellower, smoother, and more aromatic than most. This season’s well-rolled leaves bring to the cup a fragrance that is subtle and sweet, and flavors that are fruity-floral. Enjoy your salad or a light sandwich with this delicate black.

aroma:
Sweet and vegetal, like green peas, with undertones of unripe tropical fruits
appearance:
Gold
taste:
The liquor is bright, pleasantly brisk and feels ample in the mouth. A long and clean sweet green length similar to green peas can be perceived immediately and flows till the length of the cup. This is complemented by soft fruity nuances which come in intermittently around the edges and adds a layer of liveliness to the cup. Notes of raw guava come through in the finish.

Fresh fruit, vinaigrette-based salads, cucumber sandwich, Mediterranean foods
