The aromas of dates, malt, and unripe fruits makes the tea lively as you bring it close to your mouth. Once you sip, soft notes of dates is overpowered by the characteristic maltiness of the cup which stays throughout. A classic Assam cup that is made vibrant by delicate layers toward the end accentuated with notes of wood and red berries.
